The Embassy Relations Act established the Bureau on Regional Embassies, which was supposed to give the people more say on which regions we establish embassies with. However, in practice the regional officers ignore this completely, making it redundant. As such I wish to repeal it entirely.
Article 1
1. Regional Embassy privileges shall be granted to the following officials:
2. The embassy policy of this region is to be decided by any of the officials named as above and needs to be formally approved by the President.
Article 2
1. Under this Act a new Bureau will be created, called Bureau on Regional Embassies and abbreviated as the BRE. It will be under the Department of Foreign Affairs and shall comprise of 5 members chosen by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs and formally approved by the President.
2. Whenever an embassy is to be established or cancelled, the BRE will convene to vote for its approval using a simply majority system. The vote then must be approved by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs. All votes made by the BRE shall be final until a new government is formed.
Article3 2
1. The Department of Foreign Affairs, headed by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, shall have the responsibility of all matters regarding embassies as a whole.
2. If any official as named in Article 1, Section 1 of this law that wishes to propose the construction or cancellation of an embassy will immediately contact the Secretary of Foreign Affairs. The proposal then immediately will be sent to the BRE for voting, and then the vote, who then shallbe approved or deny the request. by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs.
